Using This Site on a Mobile Phone

Contained within this site are hidden pages that can be downloaded into a WAP enabled mobile phone. It is the intention to provide a limited information base including the weekly Scroll but with the longer term aim of being able to deliver sermons direct to your mobile. The Scroll will appear for that week only. Back copies will only be available from the main web site. In due course a similar provision may be written for GPRS/GPS equipped PDA devices.

The mobile site has its own simple menu structure and once the index has been downloaded into the phone, you can navigate from there.

To access this site from your mobile, you should connect to the internet and open the browser. You should find a space to type in a web address. You should type in the following

http://www.welcomechurch.org.uk/wap.html

The index page for mobile services will launch. The process may be different for individual phones or operating systems. Once you have opened the page, you should save it as a bookmark or favourite as this will make navigating back to the site easy.

Network - It does not matter which service you are signed up to as you should be able to download using any phone equipped with WAP servcies or 3G facilities.

Cost - The cost of using the mobile service will depend on your service plan and network operator. The pages are not large in terms of data transfer and should cost no more than using your phone for normal WAP browsing.
