|
Services Our main service is on a Sunday morning from 10:30am in the main church building. A creche is operated for 0-2 year olds together with various youth and sunday school groups for all ages of children and teenagers. For a map of how to find us click here Try before you buy! Our services are being broadcast over the internet on a Sunday morning although this facilitiy is still under test. For more information click here. You can also download and listen to our sermons. A communion service is held on the first Sunday of each month and there is a family service (no Sunday Schools) held on an occasional basis where the children will stay in the main service. Please see the Home page for details of forthcoming services. Each Sunday evening between 6pm and 7pm there is a prayer meeting in the Church Lounge. We also meet at 9:00am for prayer before the main church service. There is a regular programme of meetings by Churches Together service at one of the participating churches in Heathfield. Please refer to the Coming Events page or to the Churches Together page. Full details of Sunday School and Youth activites are contained in separate pages. Please use the "Youthwork" drop down menu above to go to the appropriate part of the site. Occasional family services are held and these tend to be slightly shorter as it is anticipated most of the Sunday School and Youth Members will stay throughout the service although the creche is still available. There will usually be a children's spot during this service. Other members of the church will sometimes help in these programmes Access for Disabled People Although we have no parking of our own and therefore no disabled parking, access to all facilities at the church is on the level and we do have disabled toilet facilities. Wheelchair visitors are most welcome. If you would like to discuss any aspect of disabled access or provision, please contact the church office on 01435 864646.

Car Parking The church has no car park of its own and we are reliant on the tolerance of our neighbours in Alexandra Road where car parking is concerned. Alexandra Road is quite narrow for most of its length and the parking of cars can therefore be quite difficult. The Police have also advised that cars must be parked on the road and that cars parked on the pavement may be subject to the issue of fixed penalty notices for obstruction. If you do need to drive to church, please park thoughtfully and not blocking any drives or alleyways. If possible, please park a bit further away and walk the last few yards. There are several church members that are not very mobile and access to the front gates is esential for them. Please also remember, the fire brigade will not bother about slight damage to vehicles if they are unable to get to a fire particularly if lives are at risk. Car Parking at Blackboys The village Hall has its own car park which can hold about 20 cars. As the hall is located on a very narrow lane, visitors are advised to park on the main road if all spaces are full. This is a short walk. |
